Just how secure is your central station in the event of a disaster?

If you're worried about your central station getting shut down by an act of nature, don't. Our central station features multi-redundant phone paths, ensuring continued operation in the event of a severe natural event. In addition to our phone lines, we have auxiliary power sources that kick-in in an instant if we have a power outage.

The phone system for our central station operations center doesn't leave anything to chance. We didn't want to give Mother Nature the chance to knock us out. That's why we installed FIVE SEPARATE INDEPENDENT PHONE CABLES coming into our building.

Bell Atlantic, AT&T, and MCI fiber optic T-1 cables approach our central station via conventional aerial paths. A second path consists of two additional cables: and AT&T fiber optic and a Bell Atlantic copper cable entering our facility underground from a different telephone company central office.

The result? Whatever the weather, whatever the emergency, our central station will be up and running, and in communication with our subscribers.
